Sendpoa is built by Sendpoa, a technology company based in Dar es Salaam. We build software for East African businesses — not software built elsewhere and priced for a different market.
Most of the businesses we talk to in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, and Mwanza run their customer communication out of a personal Gmail inbox, a shared WhatsApp number, or both. It works, until the business grows past a handful of people — then orders get missed, nobody knows who replied to what, and every new hire needs their own account and their own habits.
The tools built to solve this were built for a different market: priced in dollars, billed to a US card, and assuming payment and support norms that don't match how business actually gets done here. We think the answer is a platform built for this market from the start — priced in shillings, built around M-Pesa and bank transfer, and designed around the way East African businesses actually communicate with their customers.
Sendpoa is the first product in that direction. It's currently in active development ahead of a commercial launch targeted for October 2026.
